Renovated to a beautiful finish, Castle Gates offers a tranquil stay with the most incredible views of the C13 Rhuddlan Castle . Downstairs we have a cosy living room overlooking the castle, a spacious kitchen and an office area. Upstairs is a double bedroom, with an oak kingsize bed and a beautifully fitted en suite bathroom. The cottage also has a large garden and decked area with its own wood-fired hot tub, perfect for relax under the pergola with the festoon lights whilst taking in the views of the castle directly opposite. Ideal for a romantic break away from reality, Castle Gates is a short walk from the nearby village high street which has a variety of lovely cafes, pubs & shops. A true home away from home.

Had a fabulous 3 night’s stay here, check in was so quick & easy, and great we could park our car right on the drive. The cottage was in a beautiful location, it was amazing seeing views of the castle! It had everything we needed too & was really cosy. Amy was fantastic at keeping in touch and providing us with all the information we needed for our stay. The hot tub was amazing too - when we got the hang of heating it. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

We arrived in the dark but castle gates was well lit and easy to find. Private parking on the drive making it easy to unload the car. Great information on how to gain access . Castle gates was cosy warm with a Christmas tree set up lights twinkling. Welcome pack of local farmers milk and homemade mince pies was a nice touch. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding and the shower was great. overall the cottage was beautifully styled and I would definitely recommend castle gates. Forgot to say the view is beautiful.

We had an amazing stay at Castle Gates - very peaceful and relaxing. Would strongly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a modern but cosy cottage. Amy was a fab host and was very responsive throughout.

What a lovely, cosy stay we have had at this beautiful property! Lovely little touches and lots of space for two people. Such a comfy bed and awesome shower. Everything you could need and more! We will be back! :)
